TEACHING Practicing the piano is a highly rewarding activity.
In diagnosing and working problems of technique, musicality and personal interpretation, students build qualities of focused attention, dilligence and problem-solving.
They also benefit from an activity that can provide them with time to self-reflect and decompress from their everyday lives.
As a teacher, I believe in being attentive and addressing each of my students' needs on an individual basis. In ensuring that my students receive a strong foundation in technique and note-reading, they will gain the independence to continue progress outside of lesson, as well as the autonomy to pursue their own musical goals afterward.
